Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Baladbandh

The Baladbandh Welfare Project was started in May 2008 in a remote village under Kaikala Panchayat in Hooghly District, West Bengal, and made a formal branch of the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission in April 2023. A generous well-wisher donated nearly two acres of land along with a small thatched house for initiating this noble work.

The village is extremely poor and backward, lacking even basic amenities such as schools—especially for girls—and accessible medical facilities. The project was undertaken with the aim of uplifting the local community and improving their overall quality of life.
